Devotionals to help facilitate Spiritual Growth!
These are not your typical daily devotionals. I have created each weekly devotional to accompany my weekly posts. Sometimes we need to sit/ponder/meditate on topics for a while instead of moving through different topics each day.
What is the cost of Disobedience?
The cost of continuous disobedience is a life of missed opportunities, missed blessings, loss of fellowship with God, hardness of heart, and delay of His will for your life. It leads to a frustrated life..
Meditate each day on the scriptures below. Think about times when you have disobeyed God. What was the root of your disobedience; fear, pride, unbelief? Ask Holy Spirit for help in that area so that you can walk in obedience.

Knowing the Ways of God vs
Knowing His Acts
There is a difference between knowing the ways of God vs knowing the acts of God? One will bring you into a place of a reverential fear and awe of God while the other brings you into a place of unhealthy fear and dread of punishment.
Meditate each day on the scriptures below. Get to know God’s ways. As a believer in Christ, follow his example of obedience.
Do You Have the Mind of Christ?
To have the mind of Christ is to have the same perspective as Jesus. To have his perspective means prioritizing spiritual wisdom over worldly thinking.
Meditate each day on the scriptures below. Pay attention to what you’re thinking about? Every thought that enters your mind is not suppose to take up residence. Learn to discern the origin of each thought.

Living Out God’s Selfless, Sacrificial Love
In the Bible, love (agape; original greek form) is primarily defined as a selfless, sacrificial, and unconditional commitment to the well-being of others, rather than a mere feeling. It is an action word.
Meditate each day on the scriptures below. Get to know God’s love. As a believer in Christ, follow his example of love. Check your heart for what motivates you…is it out of love, obligation, or recognition?
How To Trust God When You Don’t Understand His Plan
Do you trust God when you don’t understand his plan or do you lean on your own understanding? The bible instructs us not to lean on our own understanding.
Meditate each day on the scriptures below. Think of times when you’ve leaned on your own limited understanding instead of trusting God’s divine wisdom. Study God’s character to build your confidence in Him.

5 Lies the Enemy Uses to Deceive Us
Jesus calls satan a liar and describes him as the father of lies. Learn to recognize and reject the enemy’s lies that undermine your walk with God.
Meditate each day on the scriptures below. Get to know who Jesus is. As a believer in Christ, learn your authority in him. Think of a time in your life where you have fallen for the enemy’s lies. How did you handle it?
Has your surrender to god turned into entitlement?
As Christians, if we’re not careful, even our surrender to God can turn into entitlement. This happens when our surrender comes with certain expectations.
Meditate each day on the scriptures below. Think about areas of your life where you are discontent. Why are you feeling so disappointed right now? What do you think you need in order to live an abundant life? How are you comparing your life to someone else’s life? Ask Holy Spirit to reveal areas of prideful attitude. Repent for it and make a fresh commitment to walk in gratitude.

Holding Onto Shame Will rob you of your destiny
Shame tells us that we have no value, we’re unworthy, and disqualified from the Kingdom of God.
Meditate each day on the scriptures below. Think about why you are carrying shame and how it is impacting your life. Healing starts with repentance and forgiveness. Is there anyone you need to forgive? Is there anyone you need to ask for forgiveness. Have you received the Father’s love for yourself? What have you learned about God?
How to Live A Yielded Life
Jesus’ life was perfectly aligned with the Father’s will. The bible says Jesus was obedient to the point of death.
Do your thoughts, plans, desires align with God’s will or are they aligned with the ways of this world? Do you know the Father’s will for your life? What have you learned about God? As you meditate on these scriptures, consider areas you have not fully surrendered to the Lord. Repent for holding back those areas and make a fresh commitment to follow Christ completely.
